QUEEN OF ELECTRIC FOREST

In 2019, the original Queen of Electric Forest was due for a makeover. The vision was to recreate her into an entirely new being - from an earthly entity to an ethereal cosmic spirit. It highlighted the intersection of the human experience and the celestial divine. The restoration took place onsite at Electric Forest Festival in Michigan over the course of 11 days.

LAS CATRINAS FRIDAS

Catrina: A central symbol of Mexican culture, representing the cycle of life and death. With her elegant attire and distinctive skull makeup, she embodies the idea that death is an integral part of life, to be acknowledged and celebrated.

Las Catrinas Fridas were created as an immersive art installation for Festival La Onda, a new Latin music festival that debuted in 2024. The festival was produced by the creators of BottleRock festival, with the vision in mind to honor and celebrate the latin community in Napa Valley. Eight Catrina sculptures were built and scattered among festival attendees, overlooking the silent disco and greeting patrons as they gathered at stages. Each stood at 12 feet tall, towering over the festivities.
