Original oil painting created as a reaction to the 2017 solar eclipse.
I wanted to capture the sacredness that occurred when I had my first taste of totality. The sun melted down from the sky as the temperatures dropped. But there was a fire burning simultaneously in the hearts of those who witnessed the other side of the veil.
